DAY 1 (Tuesday): PACKAGE START
ARRIVAL IN CAPE TOWN
Today is the first day of your package and we start with your arrival in Cape Town, affectionately known as the ‘Mother City’. Your driver will collect you from the Airport and take your through to your accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, the rest of the day you have some ‘free time’ where you have the choice of going on any one of the MANY amazing advetures we offer and can book for you in advance. From Quad Biking, Ziplining, Paraglinding, Sailing trips/Sunset Cruise and many more. OR you can spend the rest of your day at your own leisure and go sightseeing, visiting the local markets or just lazing at the beach/your accommodation.
On unguided free days all transport to and from activities you have booked will be for your own account should transport not be included in the activity price. Your arrival time in Cape Town will depend on which activities can be done.
We will arrange/book your Airport pick up and drop you off at Ashanti Lodge Gardens (or similar) where you will be staying for nights 1, 2, 3 & 6 of this package.

DAY 2 (Wednesday): CAPE TOWN
CAPE POINT/CAPE PENINSULA & PENGUINS TOUR
Today you join the Cape Point/Cape Peninsula & Penguis scheduled group tour.
This Peninsula Tour has been designed specifically with the all traveller in mind. Those travellers especially with the desire to see, learn and experience something different from the norm. We try to show all the unique histories, cultures and people that make Cape Town, Cape Town.
We begin the morning with a leisurely stroll along the cobbled streets and brightly coloured houses of the Bo Kaap before heading through the exclusive seaside suburbs of Clifton and Camps Bay where we have a short photo stop.
We then carry on along Victoria Drive, through Hout Bay and along the scenic Chapman’s Peak Drive eventually arriving at The Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve (included) where we have a 40 minute hike from the most south west tip of Africa, Cape of Good Hope to the Cape Point Lighthouse. We then start driving north to Boulder Beach Penguin colony, where you can view them from the boardwalk and, should you wish, go inside to view them even closer (own expense)!
By this stage you would have built up quite an appetite so we will stop for lunch (own expense). After everyone has had their fill, we stop briefly at the Shark Spotter, entrusted by the local surfers of Muizenberg to look out for Great White Sharks. We then travel through the lush Constantia Valley to the oldest wine farm outside of Europe for a relaxing end of the day wine tasting experience (own expense) where we also learn about the history of farming in the Cape in beautiful surroundings.
This tour requires a minimum group size to confirm/operate. If the minimum requirement for a departure is not reached the tour may be outsourced to a different tour supplier with a siimilar, but not exactly the same, tour.

DAY 3 (Thursday): CAPE TOWN

Today you have a unguided free day where you have the choice of going on one of the MANY amazing advetures we offer and can book for you in advance; OR you can spend your day at your own leisure and go sightseeing, visiting the local markets or just lazing at the beach.
On unguided free days all transport to and from activities you have booked will be for your own account should transport not be included in the activity price.

DAY 4 (Friday): CAPE TOWN TO SEDGEFIELD
OVERBERG, GARDEN ROUTE, GAME DRIVE, MYOLI BEACH
Today you will depart (early morning) on a 3 days scheduled group tour of the Garden Route (days 4+5+6).
We leave the mother city behind and head east along the N2 past Swellendam, the third oldest town in South Africa to a Private Game Reserve on the edge of the Garden Route. Here we go on a safari/game drive (inclued) where we search for lions, cheetah, hippo, elephants, buffalo and many more wild animals.
After lunch you have the option to either
1) Experience a guided fun forest and bush quad bike ride, twisting through trees and around bends (own expense),
OR
2) Discover the natural beauty of Kaaimans by enjoyinh a kayak/canoe trip and visit a waterfall (own expense).
Next we carry on our way to the small coastal town of Sedgefield, renowned for its diverse and picturesque landscapes, where we will spend the night. The town is surrounded by lush forests, serene lakes, and pristine beaches.

DAY 5 (Saturday): SEDGEFIEL TO TSITSIKAMMA TO SEDGEFIELD
GARDEN ROUTE, KNYNA, BLOUKRANG BUNGY, ELEPHANT BUSH WALK
We begin our day with a visit to a popular local farmers and craft market in the village. We then make our way to a sanctuary for orphaned elephants where you have the option to learn about these gentle giants and go on an Elephant Bush Walk (own exprense) OR you can choose to visit a Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary where rescued monkeys roam free in a large jungle area (own expense).
For our next stop, prepare yourself for the ultimate rush, where you have the opportunity to experience a heart-pounding, adrenaline-fueled 216-meter plunge off Africa’s highest bridge, the legendary Bloukrans Bungy - World’s highest commercial bridge bungy jump (own expense). If the bungy is not quite for you but you are still looking for a unique experience and trill, then try the SkyWalk Tour (own expense) offering breathtaking views, with a bit of adrenaline still, and a front-row seat to watch the bungy jumpers in action.
After the trill of a lifetime and with your feet back on solid ground, we head back to Sedgefield where (if time allowed) you can spend some time at Myoli beach before heading back to our accommodation for the evening where we carry on with the festivities.

DAY 6 (Sunday): SEDGEFIELD TO CAPE TOWN - VIA ROUTE 62 & OUDTSHOORN
KLEIN KAROO, OUDTSHOORN, CANGO CAVES, ROUTE 62
We head over the Outeniqua Mountains to the Town of Oudtshoorn, known as the “Ostrich Capital of the world”. Here we visit the Cango Caves (included) to go on either an adventure or standard tour through some very large chambers with spectacular limestone formations that are millions of years old. If you chose the adventure tour be prepared to start squeezing through some very tight spaces.
If caves are not for you, then you will be able to visit an Endangered Wildlife Sanctuary, home to many local and exotic endangered species OR fisit an Ostrich Show Farm with ostrich feeding & petting, incubator tours & a chance to see chicks in season.
We then start heading back to Cape Town along the scenic Route 62 through the Klein Karoo.

Note that the next day (day 7) you are departing on a 4 days ‘Kruger’ trip and you have to be in Johannesburg for this departure. You will therefore have to book a flight from Cape Town to Johannesburg for THIS evening of day 6.
You have to book an evening flight that departs from Cape Town any time from 8 PM - no earlier.
Note that this internal flight from Cape Town to Johannesburg is NOT included in this package and will be on your own expense and to book.
So upon return back in Cape Town this evening, you will then be dropped off directly at Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Johannesburg.
Once you land in Johannesburg (O R Tambo International Airport) a driver will be waiting at the airport to collect you and take you to your accommodation for the night.

DAY 7 (Monday): JOHANNESBURG TO TREMISANA
SUNSET DRIVE, GREATER KRUGER
Today you will depart (morning) on a 4 days ‘Kruger’ scheduled group tour (days 7+8+9+10).
You are collected in the morning from your Johannesburg hotel/hostelguesthouse, and travel via the Highveld grasslands to Tremisana Game Lodge in the Greater Kruger area. Board an open Landcruiser for a 4h Sunset Drive, your first opportunity to experience the fauna and flora of Africa. Watch the magnificent African sunset and, after dark, use a spotlight to view nocturnal animals. Dinner at the Marula Tree Boma will be a busg BBQ. After dinner, continue with your Night Drive and overnight in en suite air conditioned chalets at Tremisana Lodge.

DAY 8 (Tuesday): GREATER KRUGER
BUSH WALK, AFTERNOON GAME DRIVE
Awaken at sunrise for an exhilarating day of unforgettable bush life. We drive to a remote part of the Balule Game Reserve, where you enjoy a 4h Bush Walk. Your experienced field guide will lead you through the bush. The thrill of following Africa’s large animals until you can take a photo will remain with you forever. We then return to Tremisana for brunch. Lunch will be served in the Lapa at around 13h30. and at then around 15h00 we go on an afternoon game drive. You are then transferred to Marc’s Treehouse Lodge where accommodation is in fascinating treehouses.

DAY 9 (Wednesday): KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
GAME VIEWING
Today we travel to the Orpen Gate of Kruger Park where we board our open gameviewer. The absence of windows and the elevated vantage position allow for excellent photographic opportunities. You will have an amazing chance not only to view game but also to listen to and smell the African bush and its denizens. There will be regular stops at picnic spots, rest camps and places of interest. Your experienced ranger will show you many animals and birds that frequent this wildlife paradise. The Orpen-Satara-Nwanedzi regions boast open plains and support large herds of zebra, giraffe and antelope that attract numerous predators. In fact the zones we visit have the highest concentration of lions in Africa !

DAY 10 (Thursday): KRUGER TO JOHANNESBURG

For your last morning, enjoy an early morning Sunrise Walk. Then after a hearty breakfast, we leave the lodge and drive via the Panorama Route to see the scenic splendours including the Three Rondawels and the Blyde River Canyon. We return to Johannesburg in the late afternoon - Airport dropoff by arrangement.
