Description
The Ocean Safaris are exhilarating eco-adventures aboard stunning RIB vessels. This is an amazing way to get up close and personal with the wildlife living in the Atlantic waters as we cruise the coastline. The experienced and knowledgeable skippers will guide your journey.

The adventure boats offer the perfect platform for you to appreciate the beauty of the ocean and witness the plethora of creatures that inhabit the Cape Town Atlantic coastline. On these fun Ocean Safari cruises, you stand a chance of seeing a wide variety of wildlife: from Cape fur seals and dolphins to whales, penguins, sunfish, and a selection of seabirds, and potentially even orcas!

While we cannot guarantee sightings, we will thoroughly navigate Table Bay at a relaxed pace. The goal is to give you the best possible opportunity to spot your favourite sea creatures and perhaps meet some new ones. Regardless of what we see, you are guaranteed a memorable Atlantic ocean experience.

Safety aboard the Adventure Boats
We are serious about safety and our guests are our top priority. Please read through our safety guidelines before booking:

Only children over the age of 13 are allowed aboard under supervision of adults.
Passengers or children should ideally be over 1.2 metres in height and able to straddle the on-board seats in the front of the boat with both feet on the deck. The bench seat at the back of the boat can accommodate up to 3 passengers for those that would prefer to sit and not use the straddle seats. Kids are allowed under the supervision of adults.

We are obliged to put weight restrictions on the seating as well to ensure the wellbeing of our adult guests.

• A maximum of 80kg allowed in front seats.
• A maximum of 100kg allowed in back seats.

Lifejackets /PFD’s available sizes are: 60 to 125cm chest size.

The following conditions may be adversely affected by the trip: Pregnancy, High Blood Pressure; Heart Conditions; Acute and/or Chronic Knee or Back Injuries. Any person with declared medical condition will not be permitted to go on the trip unless a medical certificate approving the trip – signed within the previous 30 days – is obtained and handed into the office.

Dress Comfortably – Ensure you wear comfortable shoes—high heels are not recommended for safety on board.

Alternative Vessel Assurance – In the unlikely event that the primary boat for this cruise is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to utilize an alternative vessel for this experience. Be assured that every possible effort will be made to ensure that the advertised vessel is available. Some Cruises do not have a dedicated boat for the cruise and rely on a pool of available vessels at Waterfront Charters to cover fluctuations in weather, seasonal passenger numbers and planned maintenance.

Inclusions and Exclusions
Inclusions: Eco Guide, life jackets, a short ride out of the harbour, followed by a slow search for marine life.
Exclusions: Transport (hotel pickup & drop off), all items of a personal nature.

General/Standard Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation 15 days or more prior to tour date = 100% refund
  - less 4% in the case of online or POS card transactions
• Cancellation 14-4 days prior to tour date = 50% refund
  - less 4% in the case of online or POS card transactions
• Cancellation 3-0 days prior to tour date, late arrivals & “no show” = No refund / Full fee charged
