Experience Overview
Hop aboard a motor catamaran for a memorable trip! We depart from the historic V&A Waterfront and cruise along the Atlantic coastline to the Green Point Lighthouse before returning to the harbour.
Enjoy spectacular mountain and city views, giving you the perfect ocean perspective of Cape Town's finest sights and the Green Point shoreline.
If conditions aren't ideal for an ocean cruise, the alternate route takes us into the International Harbour. This gives you a unique, sailor's view of our wonderful harbour, with the imposing presence of Table Mountain always a thrilling backdrop.
With a cash bar and great service from the friendly crew, this is an essential experience for both locals and visitors.
Critical Arrival & Logistical Instructions
- Arrival Window: You are required to arrive at the cruise offices strictly 30 minutes before your scheduled cruise departure time to collect your boarding pass. Boarding starts 15 minutes before your scheduled cruise departure time. For example, if your cruise is scheduled to depart at 9:30, you must be on-site and collect your pass at 9:00 and board at 9:15.
- Lateness Consequences: If you are late, you risk missing your trip completely. Your booking will be marked as a non-refundable "no-show" and your fees will be forfeited.
- Location Warning: You must go straight to the meeting location / charter office at the V&A Waterfront. Do not go to Maitland / Cape Xtreme's offices. You will be at the wrong location and you will miss your booking/forfeit your booking entirely (no refund/reschedule).
- Time Slot Availability: Your selected time slot is a preference and is not guaranteed at the time of submission. Once we receive your request/booking, we will check availability and confirm your slot. We will either send over your official confirmation or immediately contact you with alternative times or dates if your preferred slot is not available.
Inclusions & Exclusions
- ✅ What’s Included: 1 Hour coastal cruise and access to an onboard cash bar.
- ❎ What’s Excluded: Round-trip transport (hotel pickup & drop off), meals, snacks, refreshments, all items of a personal nature.
What to Wear & Bring
- Stay Warm: Even on warm summer days, air temperatures on the water drop rapidly on the return leg of the cruise. Bringing a warm jacket is highly recommended.
- Sun Protection: Don't forget to wear a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen to protect yourself from afternoon rays.
- Footwear Requirements: Wear comfortable, flat shoes. High heels are strictly not recommended for safety aboard moving vessels.
Vessel Logistics & Weather Adjustments
Alternative Vessel Assurance – In the unlikely event that the primary boat for this cruise is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to utilize an alternative vessel for this experience. Be assured that every possible effort will always be made to ensure that the advertised vessel is available. Some Cruises do not have a dedicated boat for the cruise and rely on a pool of available vessels to cover fluctuations in weather, seasonal passenger numbers and planned maintenance.

Cancellation / Refund Policy
GENERAL/STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY
Please be advised that the cancellation fee & refund percentage (%) is applicable to the TOTAL tour/activity price LESS a less 5% transaction fee in the case of online or POS card transactions made for payment. This represents a direct bank processing cost and is not a revenue-generating charge.
Cancellation or changes:
- 15 days or more prior to tour date = 100% Refund
- 14-4 days prior to tour date = 50% Refund
- 3-0 days prior to tour date, late arrivals or “NO-SHOWS” = 0%/No Refund
❗️Late arrivals and/or no-shows for a tour/activity/time slot, regardless of the reason, unfortunately forfeit the full booking. Similar to booking an airline ticket; the plane will not wait for any passenger that is late. Please ensure you are on time for your booking.
❗️All transaction/transfer fees and/or forex conversion costs charged by the banks during the refund process will be billed to you (the client/booking holder)
❗️Refund and credit values are calculated in our local ZAR (South African Rand) currency. Transaction values in your own currency could be affected due to bank fees and currency exchange fluctuations.
