Description
The skydiving drop zone is located just a 50-minute drive north of Cape Town's city centre along the N7 highway. In less than an hour, you'll be whisked away from the urban environment, ready to enjoy one of the best views in the world from altitude.
During a tandem skydive, you are securely attached to a Tandem Instructor using a specialized harness connected to a state-of-the-art parachute system large enough to support both of you.
After just a 15-minute ground briefing, you'll enjoy a spectacular aircraft ride up to 10,000ft above the ground, taking in the finest views of the West Coast, Cape Town, Robben Island, and Table Mountain.
Then the action begins! It's out the door for a thrilling 35 second freefall at speeds of over 120mph/200kph. Your instructor will deploy the parachute at roughly 5,000ft, initiating a peaceful, 5 minute parachute ride back down to Earth. During this gentle descent, you may even get a chance to help steer the parachute!
Arrangements
What to Wear: Wear comfortable clothes, e.g. jeans/pants or shorts and a t-shirt or sweatshirt and well fitting, lace-up type shoes with no heels, hooks or snag points.
Things to Bring: Sense of adventure, cash for food and drink, credit card for additional services, sunscreen and a hat. Contact lenses and/or spectacles can be worn as normal. Goggles are provided to wear during the skydive including goggles that fit over spectacles. Please note that you will not be permitted to take any cameras, cell phones or other loose objects on the aircraft or the skydive.
Guests or Spectators: Spectators are welcome.
Requirements
Minimum Age: 12 years old (under parent supervision) at a minimum weight of 35kg (77lbs) and a minimum height of 1.2m (tandem instructor discretion applies). Parental consent is required for passengers under the age of 18.

Please note that this is the absolute maximum permissible weight. Passengers are weighed on arrival to facilitate loading of the aircraft. If the weight restrictions are not met on the day of your Skydive, you will not receive a full refund.
Fitness Level: No Fitness Requirement
A tandem jump requires general good health. Age, history of major illness, injuries or operations may exclude participation – ask your doctor if in doubt. You must be able to lift and hold your legs aloft prior to and during the parachute landing.

Inclusions and Exclusions
Inclusions: All operational gear including goggles to wear during the skydive as well as goggles that fit over spectacles. Ground instruction by qualified tandem master, tandem master's fee, scenic aircraft ride.
Exclusions: Transport (hotel pickup & drop off), jump suits or coveralls (not required), pictures & video footage (Additional @ R 980 pp).

More Information
This is an individual tandem skydiving experience and the configuration of loads depends on size, weight and available instructors. We will try our best to configure loads to accommodate special requests and or to keep people together but we cannot guarantee any seating arrangements.
Please allow 2 to 3 hours/half a day from arrival time to allow for any possible weather or air traffic control holds.
General/Standard Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation 15 days or more prior to tour date = 100% refund
- less 4% in the case of online or POS card transactions - Cancellation 14-4 days prior to tour date = 50% refund
- less 4% in the case of online or POS card transactions - Cancellation 3-0 days prior to tour date, late arrivals & “no show” = No refund / Full fee charged
- If weight restrictions are not met on the day of your Skydive = 90% Refund
